Texting and driving is responsible for too many deaths and severe injuries in Florida and it needs to be addressed by The Florida Legislature. Encourage your State Representative and your State Senator to get involved in the discussion and proposed solutions to this public safety problem.

North Marion High recently held their fourth annual Drive for Life safe driving presentation. Several students helped develop the program after eight North Marion students died in automobile crashes in recent years. The 45-minute, student-initiated-and-produced presentation addressed distracted driving, seat belt usage, drinking and driving and reckless driving.
